Some Thoughts...

Concerning the final project, after a lot of consideration, I think that it's simply too big, given my time frame. I need to cut it down to something more manageable, and I'm thinking of making a sculptural bust/head, instead of an entire torso. I would still use webcams for the eyes of this device, and perhaps explore the ideas of surveillance art, conceptually-speaking. The human observer, what's next in terms of camera technology, what if people could record what they see 24/7, and have people access that view all the time, via constant broadcast, etc.

The live web-cam feeds would be transmitted to a site online, though I'm not entirely sure what the layout or purpose of it would be yet... This still entails a lot of work, but it's somewhat more manageable than what I had originally intended, and I think it would fit nicely into the themes of this class, and also into the ideas of what I wanted to explore for this project.

Group Project

A lot of blood, sweat, tears and tons of other bodily fluids went into this one, folks.
